Great selection of pho near Ocean springs hospital. Two pages of beef or seafood choices. They have coconut juice which is a nice treat!

Yum! Always great food--made to order! Prices are reasonable. Love, love, love! pork eggrolls here! Always homemade, never frozen! All three entrees and appetizer were on point! The fresh lemonade is yummy! I know its just lemonade but I don't ever make lemonade.....so its nice to enjoy it when I'm in the mood. Also, I like their Vietnamese poboy (made to order!).

People come here for the food. It is fresh and interesting and delicious. We have never been disappointed. The service is excellent: friendly and prompt. The prices are very reasonable. The ambience could be better--the fluorescent lights and vinyl floor are a bit harsh. And I wish they had brown rice as an option. But it works for us as a place to have an inexpensive, quick and tasty supper or lunch. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Asian food.

Had the #52 this time. Fantastic. Always really really good chow. First time I ever ate in the evenings here. Service was even better than in afternoons. Eat here. Eat here often.

I had the Bu Bo Hue which is basically spicy beef soup. I had eaten it a few weeks earlier at another Vietnamese spot and it was ok. Chef Scotts was way better. The only reason five stars was not awarded was because I asked for it extra spicy and for some reason it was not spicy enough. That and I asked for a coke and got a can which is a coke, but really do I need to pay for refills? The decor was not shabby like some of the reviews said on here, maybe its cause it has changed its name To VK Noodle house. Word on the street its Chef Scotts sister. Anyhow I recommend it to anyone.

As the other reviewer stated, Chef Scott's Sushi has garnered a reputation for having some of the best sushi on the Coast. I was looking forward to trying out his new restaurant, hopefully bringing that same quality to a local Pho-type cuisine. Although the place has not been open for long, I was surprised at the interior - it looks somewhat run down. The menu was standard Pho fare. We ordered the stir fried beef on rice noodles and the chicken pad Thai. Our service was quick and the portions were large. Both meals were good, although I was not thrilled with the pad Thai. The sauce was somewhat bland and not nearly as flavorful as that of the beef. The beef dish was good, my only complaint being that it was served on a bed of shredded lettuce rather than sprouts. Drink choices were somewhat limited and soft drinks are served from cans - not a problem for me, but don't expect bottomless refills. Overall a good experience, but not as good as Pho 777 - bigger, cheaper portions and better food.

I'm a stickler for Chef Scott's sushi as it's wicked good, but I wasn't greatly impressed with the noodle house. I've found other coastal locations that offered better variety that gives you more food per serving for the same price.

I've had Chef Scott's sushi and was very impressed with the quality of food that he serves and the level of service they provided so when he opened the noodle house, I wanted to try it and was extremely disappointed. The decor of the place looks sad for a new establishment. You would think it would be nicer than the sushi restaurant but not the case. Service was weak and seems like they need more training. The food was horrible as well. They skimped on ingredients. I ordered the Pho with meatballs and beef and came out with one meatball sliced in two, which was really a joke. Everything was not really up to par with his reputation of the wonderful food at the other restaurant. I eat noodles all the time and this place is definitely NOT worth trying.

Probably some of the worst food I have ever had!!!! I hate writing negative reviews. Tbh, this is the first I have ever written on Yelp, but this needs it. I got pho for mom once a couple years ago from here and the noodles weren't recently cooked at all. They were very very cold and hard. The meat was disgusting like it was pass date and how they can even say Chef Scott still runs this place isn't even reasonable. I've had Chef Scott's food and although I'm not a huge fan, he is a talented cook. (Good flavor and style just not something I'd eat often.) He would never let it be so low! The staff took forever on our food I had a waitress or some staff member yell at me to "wait!" when I asked how much longer? I work in food business for 3 years (not anymore.) Ik how hard it can be. I really do, but this on multiple occasions isn't okay. It was every time I went there and I gave it a few chances (about 4 not including when my parents go there and complain.) because I thought maybe just a bad day, but this is just pathetic what they're trying to pull. I am always stuck waiting forever, food is never fresh or tasting how it should, or it is improperly prepared. I have had Vietnamese food. I have Vietnamese family and friends who seem to cook it quite well what they make. And I get all food is cooked differently but when my noodles are cold and soggy I don't think that's prepared differently. It's just inadequate cooking!

Hard to find decent Vietnamese restaurants down here in southern Mississippi. This place if a bit over priced but their food is delicious!

Sick as a dog. Craving pho & fresh spring rolls.I love the Nasty bits & it was great they delivered. Classic pho with all the offal I was craving. Spring rolls were ok. The pho was what I expected. Cheap, fast & good.Although they don't do a green curry nor do they have the mother of all Thai salads som tam. I will continue my search for a more classic Thai food spot. I do realize that I'm in the armpit of America for now. But really? C'mon people. SOM TAM!!! Must find it.

Excellent Pho #16 and the Bahn Mi sandwich is well worth it (not on the menu you have to ask for it ). The coconut shake is sweet and nutty since they use real coconut pulp. Very nice restaurant - a little hole in the wall and worth a try. This is Vietnamese cuisine with a few other Chinese dishes-fried rice etc.

The fact that this place is now called VK Noodle House instead of Chef Scott Noodle House, even though it is still owned by the Chef Scott family says it all - VK Noodle House falls short of the standard of quality established by the Chef Scott Sushi Restaurant located in downtown Ocean Springs. This fact is particularly disturbing because the Chef Scott family is Vietnamese. Thus it is very disappointing that the family would run one of the best Sushi restaurants in the area and yet run such a low quality Vietnamese restaurant. Upon entering this restaurant, you see that it is very nicely decorated, although it is a bit on the small side, compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The server who comes up to greet you is not Vietnamese. While having a Vietnamese server is not a sign of a good Vietnamese restaurant, as a Vietnamese person, I find it a bit off putting, as I go to Vietnamese restaurants for communion just as much as I go for the food. So not being able to order and speak in Vietnamese, to not be able to ask what's going on in the community is a bit of a letdown. But a restaurant should be judged on it's food. And in this aspect VK Noodle House gets low marks. While the flavors are authentic, suggesting that there is Vietnamese cook in the kitchen, the presentation and quantity ratio are off. I ordered a bowl of pho with round eye steak, tendon, and meat balls. My bowl of pho came out with three small meat balls, one or two pieces of tendon, and a place of rare round eye steak. So essentially, it was a huge thing of noodles in broth with barely any meat. The one impressive point was that they had the foresight to leave the rare steak on the side so the person eating and dip it in the broth to cook it to their liking. Other places put the rare steak in the broth when they bring it out, which causes the meat to become well done, which is not the desired effect. But on the whole, the proportions were horrible. Too much noodles and not enough meat. I felt cheated. I've had other meals here that I thought were decent, but I don't know that I'd go back out here again unless I got really sick of all the Vietnamese food over in Biloxi or D'Iberville.

i think that the pho is very good here and you definitely are content when finished. i steer clear of the tripe or beef balls and just go with the rare sirloin. the i have ordered the spring rolls too and they're alright, nothing to rave about. i always get it to go b/c there's hardly anyone in there and it creeps me out to sit in there alone. plus that soup's so hot even when you take it to go and get back to your house. in my view, it's better than chef scotts AND you can get out of here for under $12.

I have been to this restaurant many times, the Pho Dac Biet is good, good portion, like that they have the thinly slices of raw beef on the side so that you can add in the soup right before you eat so that it cooks in the soup broth (that's how I remember most traditional Vietnamese restaurants do it when I was growing up but not any local restaurants around here do it), also the Banh Mi # 1 is good, the place is small but is a nice place to get a meal. The waitress that I normally see there is pleasant and always friendly. Recently I went there and did not see the usual waitress that serves me, I noticed the difference as the restaurant was not as clean, some of the tables were not wiped down, the place just did not have the same look, feeling as when she is there. I do enjoy going there, it does not not take long for the food to be prepared and served. I definitely would recommend this place for anyone wanting traditional Vietnamese food.
